Excelsior Youth Center works with some of the most challenging youth in the nation. These are very special young women who require very caring and professional staff members to work with them. Working at Excelsior Youth Center can be a very rewarding experience. We employ primarily those within the fields of counseling and education, however, we also employ medical, clerical and lots of support staff. Excelsior Youth Center is proud to announce that we use The Diana Screen® to protect the children we serve.
As of 4/2/2012 the Diana Screen® is administered to all potential Excelsior Youth Center employees to help ensure that ethical boundaries between children and adults are maintained. It is a computerized test that takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is administered by the Human Resources Department of Excelsior Youth Center. At Excelsior Youth Center, the safety and protection of the youth who have been entrusted to us is our #1 priority.
We are
located on the front range of the Rocky Mountains, just 30 minutes from Denver
International Airport and just 5 minutes from Cherry Creek State Park and Lake.

letters. 2 SHIFTS PER WEEK IN TLC, 2 SHIFTS PER WEEK AS A CAMPUS COUNSELOR!!!
Schedule: Thursday 8am-4pm in TLC, Friday 4pm-midnight, Saturday 4:30pm-11:30pm,
Sunday 4pm-midnight in TLC
Requirements: 2 yrs of college or 1 yr full time experience

Food Service Technician: Cafeteria
This position is open to males and females with the responsibilities
to include: preparing food, cooking, serving, cleaning in the Excelsior
cafeteria.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm (with 2 scheduled 30 minute
breaks)
Requirements: Prefer experience in preparing foods in large quantities
and in the use of kitchen equipment and appliances prefer previous
school or institutional food services; Prefer High School Diploma;
able to give and follow both written and verbal directives; able to
stand for long periods of time; able to lift up to 40 pounds; do simple
arithmetic; able to tolerate exposure to changing temperatures: i.e.,
walk in freezer and exposure to heat; ability to speak, hear and see
to safely supervise clients, respond to fire/tornado/crisis alarms
and give/receive verbal input to/from clients.
Salary: $9.00 per hour, with health, vision, life and dental insurance
tuition assistance, credit union, paid sick and vacation time, defined
contribution plan, meals while on duty and more.
Part Time Development Assistant:
This position is open to males and females who will assist the Development
Department with maintaining the SAGE database, Recording and tracking
donations, producing mailing lists, be the liaison for the Foundation
Board and monitor the Development Department procedure manual. Speak
publicly to groups and escort clients as needed. Create email blasts
for fundraising, awareness and events. Conduct facility tours and
open houses.
Schedule: 20 hours per week. *Typically Mon thru Fri (* varies as
needed for special events, meetings and other activities)
Requirements: Prefer experience with clerical duties and an excellent
understanding of MS Word and Excel. Must maintain 100% training compliance
to supervise Excelsior clients. Salary and Benefits: Entry level $11.00
per hour with benefits that include membership in the credit union,
defined contribution plan, and meals while on duty. NO MEDICAL BENEFITS!
1 Science Teacher- open to Female applicants only! Must be
a certified Sciecne teacher in Colorado with Secondary Education endorsement.
Salary range $32,000-$34,000.
